Southwest Range Services The Engineer/Scientist serves as a technical contributor in the research, development, analysis, testing, and evaluation of electro-optical (EO), infrared (IR), directed energy weapons, counter UAS, AI/ML, and countermeasure/counter-countermeasure technologies associated with advanced weapon systems and defense applications. Participate in laboratory, ground, captive-flight, and live-field test activities involving military or foreign weapon systems, sensors, and electronic warfare technologies. This position requires a hands-on, mission-oriented individual capable of working in both office/lab settings and field test environments with travel up to 40% possible. Personnel participate in system integration, troubleshooting, test execution, data analysis, and technical reporting associated with advanced defense systems.
