*The schedule for this role is Friday-Sunday 0900-2200* The Extended Coverage Carrier Rep will source and procure the carrier services that will physically move freight for our clients. This role will also support customers by ensuring the efficient movement of inventory through proactive after-hours logistics support. This role is responsible for negotiating rates based on market conditions, identifying and resolving shipment issues, and maintaining strong service execution during non-standard business hours. Responsibilities Source and procure carrier capacity to book and ensure execution of committed freight on a spot basis. Secure Same Day Load Coverage Negotiate rates with carriers on a spot or transactional basis to maximize revenue per load Execute Load Tendering to Carrier Perform Rate Confirmation Follow Ups Proactive and diligent execution of on-time tracking and tracing for all shipments in transit.
