The County of Riverside's Department Waste Resources has an opportunity for an Equipment Parts Helper assigned to the parts storeroom, located in Moreno Valley. Qualified candidates will possess experience working in an automotive, truck, or heavy construction equipment (examples: tractors, loaders, dozers, backhoes, etc.) repair setting (i.e., automotive, truck, or heavy construction equipment parts store, service dept.), etc. Competitive candidates will have working knowledge of automotive and construction equipment, parts, and inventory tracking and operating a sit down forklift. This position follows a 5/40 schedule 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday. Uniforms will be provided. Under general supervision, to assist in obtaining, storing, and issuing parts for the maintenance of a large fleet of automotive, truck, or heavy construction equipment; and to do other work as required.
