POSITION SUMMARY The Self-Perform Estimator will participate in all aspects of the bid and estimating process from review of plans and specs to soliciting and negotiating prices from contractors and suppliers through completion of bid/estimating effort including closeout, with a primary focus on the concrete scope of work. Performs quantity take-off, pricing, scoping and bidding of construction projects involving more complex trade packages and self-perform work. RESPONSIBILITIES Estimating Support for Projects Performs quantity take-offs. Assists in the pricing and bidding of construction projects. Develops and documents logical assumptions during conceptual estimating activities and applies these assumptions to takeoff tasks.
