Position Summary The Assistant Preconstruction Manager will participate in all aspects of the bid and estimating process from review of plans and specs to soliciting and negotiating prices from contractors and suppliers through completion of bid/estimating effort including closeout. Performs quantity take-offs, pricing, scoping and bidding of construction projects involving more complex trade packages and self-perform work. Key Responsibilities Assistsin the pricing and bidding of construction projects, handling key/complex trade categories. Leads preconstruction and estimating activities on small projects. Develops and documents logical assumptions during early-design estimating activities and applies these assumptions to takeoff tasks.
