Knik Construction is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Technician to support construction projects at multiple remote locations throughout Alaska. This role performs Contractors Quality Control (CQC) duties under the direction of a QC Manager or Lead QC Technician and works closely with project superintendents. This is a seasonal position that requires travel and on ‑ site living at remote job locations. Davis ‑ Bacon wages apply where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Contractors Quality Control (CQC) duties in accordance with approved Quality Control Plans.
Conduct QC sampling, testing, observation, documentation, and reporting. Perform aggregate testing including sieve analysis, fracture count, and flat & elongated testing.
Perform hot mix asphalt (HMA) sampling and testing including asphalt content, gradation, density, and coring.
