Position Summary:  The primary purpose of the Electrical Estimator is to provide all construction estimates to include underground and overhead distribution, transmission, and substation estimates with the information required for submission to the client. Estimating consists with understanding the requirements of the project, visiting the jobsite, attending pre-bid job walks, preparing needed labor, equipment and material estimates, managing subcontractor quotes, building project manpower resource schedules and reviewing the bid with project management, contract administration and estimating from cradle to grave.   The secondary purpose of the Electrical Estimator to assist contract administration with creation of budgets after award of the estimated project.
