Job Description The Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Shop Technician is responsible for the inspection, assembly, testing, maintenance, and repair of MPD equipment in a shop environment. This role supports field operations by ensuring all MPD systems and components are prepared, compliant, and fully functional prior to deployment, as well as properly serviced upon return from the field. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years experience with oilfield equipment. Knowledge of pressure control and high-pressure systems. Ability to read technical drawings and procedures. Familiarity with API standards (16RCD, 16C, 7K). Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge.
