Description: Description The R&D Dynamometer Lab Technician will be responsible for all aspects of running brake and clutch dynamometer testing within the lab; including test setup, test execution, part inspections, record keeping, and machine maintenance. Responsibilities · Set up dynamometer test fixturing and test parts using lifting devices where necessary. · Execute test procedures and scripts using computer software associated with test equipment. · Accurately measure and inspect tested or fabricated specimens for wear characteristics and flatness variation using calibrated micrometers or other various thickness gauges. · Must provide consistent and accurate measurements within the same parts as well as between parts.
