The GIS Technician II performs technical Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tasks, including data input, maintenance, editing, and system analysis, and produces a variety of map reports. The GIS Technician II is also expected to maintain land use-related GIS layers and spatial data, produce both standard and project-specific maps, and provide day-to-day GIS support to planners and staff.
