Overview: The Engineering Technician position may be located across Division 7 depending on where the successful candidate is located to include Illinois and Iowa.   Primary Purpose:  Monitors and evaluates rotating and reciprocating equipment (2 & 4 cycle internal combustion engines, compressors, fans, pumps, turbines and centrifugal compressors etc.) utilizing specialized electronic analyzing equipment. Examines, analyzes, troubleshoots, and diagnoses equipment for defects in operation. On occasion the Engineering Technician will assist Mechanical Maintenance with troubleshooting and repairs.
