Rocklin Ranch Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care is an AAHA-accredited, fast-paced small animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the skills of our team. We are seeking a *Dental* *Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)* with a passion for dentistry to join our growing dental department.
Whether you're an experienced dental technician or an RVT looking to specialize, we offer a *robust 6–8 week dental training program* designed to build confidence and expand your technical skills. Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge, mentorship, and autonomy to excel in veterinary dentistry.

Responsibilities
* Complete autonomy with all dental extractions (simple and complicated) and advanced dental procedures
* Perform nerve blocks
* Perform gingival suturing
* Obtain full-mouth dental radiographs
* Identify dental abnormalities and communicate findings to the veterinarian
* Perform complete dental prophylaxis procedures
* Recover and monitor patients following anesthesia
* Perform dental charting and maintain accurate medical records
* Educate clients on dental disease prevention and at-home care
Qualifications
* Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license
* *Previous advanced dental experience is highly preferred*
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Desire to continue learning and developing advanced dental skills
