Smiles Ohio is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a hygienist who wants a consistent weekday schedule, a supportive clinical team, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care without working Fridays or weekends.

*Compensation*:
* $50.00–$58.00 per hour, or...
* *Want to earn more?* A commission-based compensation structure is available as an option designed to reward high-performing hygienists. This structure rewards productivity and performance, *with no cap on earning potential.*
*Performance Expectations:*
* Recognize periodontal disease based on radiographic and clinical findings.
* Provide patient education regarding the disease process and whole-body health.
* Provide patient education regarding caries and diet.
* Take diagnostic quality images to assist during patient education and diagnosis.
* Provide exceptional preventive care, including but not limited to: scaling, polishing, flossing, sealants and professionally applied fluoride.
* Perform non-surgical Periodontal Therapy according to the AAP guidelines and office procedure.
* Administer local anesthetic to patients when necessary.
* Appoint return re-care visits.

* Maintain professionalism at all times.
* Ability to foster trust from doctors, co-workers and patients.
* Ability to work cooperatively with management, staff and patients.
* Ability to prioritize, organize and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.
* Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas competently.

*Qualifications:*
* Current RDH licensure.
* Current Local Anesthetic licensure.
* Current CPR certification.
*Office Hours for this Position:*
* Monday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
* Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
* Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
* Thursday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay: $50.00 - $58.00 per hour
