- Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering a variety of services for patients of all ages in the Cushing, Oklahoma area. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care, and urology.
Responsibilities:
- This position is accountable for operating the ultrasound scanners, transporting patients, and answering questions related to reports of exams.
- The incumbent helps clean rooms and equipment, and order supplies, assists physicians with invasive procedures, and administers basic C.P.R. Must be RDMS or RDMS registry eligible.
- The incumbent must be able to maintain a high standard of imaging.
- A thorough knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and positioning is essential for a quality exam.
- Must be able to handle multiple demands simultaneously and keep a helpful attitude.
- Must be able to coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
- Must be available for 24-hour call-back with a 1-hour response time.
- Will participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department.
- The incumbent must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his or her assigned area.
