We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and dependable *Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)* to join our growing team!
*Job Summary*
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in preventive care, patient education, and periodontal therapy. You will work alongside a supportive team of doctors and assistants in a well-equipped office utilizing modern digital technology (including digital radiography, intraoral scanning, CBCT, and electronic health records).
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling & root planing (SRP).
* Conduct comprehensive oral evaluations, including periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and review of medical history.
* Take high-quality digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral scans as needed.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and personalized treatment plans.
* Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (as certified and permissible by Indiana state guidelines).
* Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical notes and patient records in practice management software (Open Dental).
* Adhere strictly to OSHA, CDC, and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients.
* Partner with the doctor to co-diagnose restorative and periodontal needs.
*Qualifications & Skills*
* *Education & License:* Active *Indiana Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)* license in good standing.
* *Certifications:* Current CPR/BLS certification; Local Anesthesia permit required (or in progress).
* *Experience:* Experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply!
* *Technical Skills:* Proficiency with digital chart management (Open Dental experience is a plus) and modern clinical equipment.
* *Soft Skills:* Excellent verbal communication, warm chairside manner, and a strong work ethic.
