Job Description
Costa Dentistry is a modern, high-tech private practice in a newly renovated Ashburn office, founded by Dr. Shane Costa. We are privately owned, with no DSO or private equity affiliation, and we are seeking a Virginia Registered Dental Hygienist to join a growing schedule at our Ashburn location. *Full-time preferred, part-time considered for the right candidate.*
*The role*
* Sixty minutes for recall appointments and 60 to 90 minutes for new patients, so you have time to deliver thorough care.
* A four-day work week with full-time hours. We are also open to a reduced schedule for an experienced hygienist seeking part-time work.
* Routine prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing, with the appointment time to complete each properly.
* Patient education and home-care guidance as a core part of the visit, not an afterthought.
* Transition to Archy, a modern cloud-based practice management system, beginning this fall.
*Compensation and benefits*
* $60 to $70 per hour, commensurate with experience

*Qualifications*
* Active Virginia Registered Dental Hygienist license, or a foreign-trained dentist who has passed the Virginia dental hygiene licensing examination
* Current CPR certification
* Certification to administer local anesthesia
* Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
* Able to commute to Ashburn, VA 20148
