Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, has a positive attitude, and works well as part of a team. Join our family oriented practice that loves to create enhanced smiles.
As a Dental Hygienist, you will work alongside our dental professionals to ensure the highest standards of dental hygiene are maintained.
Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures
- Conduct oral health assessments and review patients' medical history
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Take and develop X-rays as needed and
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Provide Local dental anesthesia as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar electronic dental documentation systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
