Job Description
*Schedule & Benefits*
* Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
* (4-day work week). We are committed to ensuring you get the hours you are hired for, regardless of patient cancellations or schedule. With paid holidays we have 4 day weekends nearly every month.
* 12 Paid Holidays
* 2 weeks Paid Time Off - Accrues with each pay period starting at 2 weeks per year, accrual increases with tenure
* 401(k) with match
* Free dental care for all employees
* Reserved parking space
* All employees are eligible for monthly employee profit sharing. This has averaged an hourly pay increase of 2-4$/hour worked
*Camberville Dental is an owner-operated private practice in Cambridge, MA. We pride ourselves on being the opposite of a corporate chain. We are a stable, tight-knit team where all staff members have been with us for years. Our focus is on providing excellent, honest care for our patients, with a great working environment for our team. We are looking to add hygiene capacity to serve our growing patient base. Our office is all-digital, and we use modern technology throughout our office. We are looking to find a person who will be a great culture fit with our existing team, and ideally someone who is looking for a long term position here. We are looking to fill this position by late June, but are open to an earlier start date.*
*The Technology & Equipment*
We believe in providing you with the best tools to deliver excellent care. Our office is equipped with:
* Software: We use Eaglesoft for seamless practice management and charting.
* Instruments: Every op is stocked with ultrasonic scalers and professionally sharpened Hu-Friedy scalers.
* Imaging & Scanning: High-tech workflow including digital X-rays, CBCT, and Trios intraoral scanning.
* In-house digital printing capabilities used for occlusal guards, retainers, and in house clear aligner treatment.
Workflow
* We schedule 60-minute recall appointments, and 90-minute new patient appointments to ensure you have ample time for each patient.
* Assistants help hygiene as needed to stay on schedule by taking radiographs, flipping rooms, an recording perio charting
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide periodontal treatment including, prophies, perio maintenance, and SRP.
* Take digital radiographs
* Utilize Trios scanners for digital impressions and intraoral photography.
* Maintain chart records within Eaglesoft.
* We want you to educate patients on the pros and cons of treatment - not to sell dentistry.
Qualifications
* Massachusetts Dental Hygienist License
* Local anesthesia license
* Proficiency in Eaglesoft is a plus though not required
* Experience or interest in learning digital workflows (Scanning, photos, CBCT).
* A collaborative spirit and a desire for a long-term professional home.
We are open to considering new hygiene graduates, and would be happy to help you learn to use intraoral scanners and intraoral cameras.
