Whole Child Therapy Services is an established private practice serving children, adolescents, and families in the Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, and surrounding communities since 2014. We provide individualized, neurodiversity-affirming care centered on each client's strengths, needs, and meaningful participation in everyday life.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our practice. The position can accommodate clinicians seeking anything from a small supplemental schedule to a larger ongoing caseload, with hours built around clinician availability and practice needs.

*About Whole Child*

Whole Child is owned and directed by a pediatric speech-language pathologist with 16 years of clinical experience and 12 years in private practice in the local community. Integrity and accountability are central to our practice, along with strong clinical reasoning, individualized care, and collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals.

Whole Child is also connected to Sound Space Collective, a local interdisciplinary community created to bring professionals across disciplines together for connection, shared learning, and collaboration. The community includes professionals in child and family therapy, psychology and neuropsychology, developmental pediatrics, speech-language pathology, education, and other related fields.

*The Position*

The OT will provide outpatient evaluation and treatment based on each client's individual needs and the clinician's areas of experience and expertise.

*Responsibilities include:*

* Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized, functional treatment plans
* Provide evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming treatment
* Support areas such as self-care and daily living skills, fine and visual motor skills, motor planning, sensory differences, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and functional participation as appropriate
* Collaborate with clients and families to develop meaningful goals and support carryover into everyday life
* Communicate with other professionals involved in a client's care when appropriate
* Complete documentation and clinical responsibilities in a timely manner using an EMR system

*Qualifications*

* Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
* Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for Washington licensure
* NBCOT certification
* Pediatric experience is valued but not required
* Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and documentation skills
* Commitment to evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming care
* Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals
