Position Responsibilities:
Performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Maintains a safe patient care environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities that foster the goals of the hospital’s mission and vision statements. Assists the surgical team in preparing the operative suite for procedures and assists in the care of patients by performing surgical technologist duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Good communication skills
Graduate of an accredited surgical technology school or equivalent experience or training.
Certification for applicable role (scrub tech/first assist) required within 90 days
American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS
No Travel Required
