*Responsibilities*
* Perform mold remediation procedures using specialized cleaning techniques and equipment to eliminate mold growth effectively.
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction skills to remove contaminated materials and prepare sites for restoration.
* Conduct water damage assessments to ensure comprehensive property recovery.
* Apply knowledge of the restoration industry standards to maintain safety and compliance.
* Need to operate and have familiarity with air scrubbers, HEPA vacuum systems, and other cleaning equipment to restore affected areas thoroughly.
* Follow detailed protocols for mold removal, water extraction, drying processes, and debris disposal to ensure thorough remediation.
* Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress clearly with team members and clients.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in the restoration industry, particularly in mold remediation and water damage restoration - *3 years' experience required, 5 years' experience preferred.*
* Certification as a Mold Remediation Technician is required *(through IICRC or similar).*
* Certification as a Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) is required.
* Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment used in property restoration.
* Strong understanding of construction practices related to demolition, repair, and reconstruction activities.
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
* Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols and industry standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
