Job Description
*Part-Time Clinical Nurse (RN or LPN) – Sioux City Outreach*
*Schedule:* Wednesdays Only | 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

*Your Role & Responsibilities:*
You will provide comprehensive clinical care for our patients, including:
* *Patient Care: *Clinical nursing care of our patients, including intake and triage
* *Testing:* Allergy skin testing (percutaneous, intradermal, patch), food allergy challenges, and lung function tests.
* *Specialized Testing:* Allergy skin testing (percutaneous, intradermal, patch), food allergy challenges, and lung function tests.
* *Advanced Treatments:* Administration of immunotherapy (allergy/venom) and biologics.
* *Education:* Empowering patients through detailed teaching and literature distribution.
* *Compliance: *Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA and government regulations
* *Contribution: *Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* *Professionalism:* Discretion and confidentiality
* *Adaptable: *Must be able to work both as part of the team and independently; self-motivated
*Qualifications:*
* Current Iowa RN or LPN licensure
* BLS certification
* Clinical Experience (minimum of 1-2 years). Clinical experience in allergy, asthma and/or immunology preferred, but not required.
*Education and Requirements*
* Requires a current active Registered Nurse or LPN license in the State of Iowa.
* Patient teaching skills and ability to coordinate care for complex patients.
* Current BLS CPR/AED for Health Care Providers certification required.
* Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.
*Physical Demands*
This position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting. The employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
*Work Environment*
This job will require exposure to patient elements. Individuals in this role routinely use standard office equipment such as laptop and desktop computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
