We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech/Language Pathologist to join our team in the Therapy Department. This is an hourly, non-exempt position responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, while adhering to regulatory and clinical standards. The Speech-Language Pathologist also assesses treatment outcomes, offers consultation and counseling to patients and their support network, and provides comprehensive discharge summaries. Proper documentation of all necessary information is required in accordance with company policy. A SLP license is required, and while prior experience is preferred, this position is open to Speech-Language Pathologists at all experience levels.
*Responsibilities*
* Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
* Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
* Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
* Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
* Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.
*Qualifications*
* Speech-Language Pathology license is required.
* This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels.
