Physical Therapist – Sports & Performance

$50.00 hourly

Job Description

*Physical Therapist – Sports & Performance*

Valor Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated, highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our established sports and performance-focused practice.

We operate a cash-based model centered around high-quality, one-on-one care. Our therapists have the time and resources to deliver individualized treatment without the demands of a traditional high-volume outpatient setting.

Our patient population includes professional, collegiate, high school, and recreational athletes, as well as active adults and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgery.

What the role includes:

* Provide individualized 1-on-1 physical therapy evaluations and treatment
* Develop progressive rehabilitation and return-to-sport programs
* Treat orthopedic, sports, post-operative, and performance-related conditions
* Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, athletic trainers, strength coaches, and other healthcare professionals
* Integrate manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and performance-based rehabilitation
* Utilize advanced treatment and recovery technologies within our facility
* Maintain high standards for documentation, communication, and overall patient experience
* Build strong relationships with patients, athletes, and the surrounding sports community

Valor combines physical therapy with a high-level strength and performance environment, allowing our clinicians to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and full athletic performance.

Our clinicians have access to advanced modalities and equipment including AlterG anti-gravity treadmill, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, ARP Neuro/DC stimulation, blood-flow restriction training, dry needling with e-stim, cupping/IASTM, compression recovery systems, red-light therapy, robotic therapy technology, and extensive strength and performance equipment.

We’re looking for someone who:

* Holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and is licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan
* Has a strong interest in sports medicine, orthopedics, and performance rehabilitation
* Is confident working independently and taking ownership of patient outcomes
* Understands and is comfortable working within a cash-based physical therapy model
* Communicates value effectively and is comfortable with the consultative and sales-related aspects of converting prospective patients into care
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Is motivated to continue developing clinically and professionally
* Values individualized, high-quality care and represents Valor at a high professional standard

Sports or orthopedic experience is preferred, though an exceptional new graduate with a strong sports/performance background may be considered.

This is a highly valued position within an established practice and is best suited for a clinician who is confident, driven, relationship-oriented, and capable of delivering an exceptional level of care and service.
