Join Our Dental Hygiene Team!
We are looking for a *part-time Dental Hygienist* to join our established hygiene team. This position is open following the retirement of a long-time member of our team, and you’ll be joining *4 hygienists—2 full-time and 2 part-time- *who support and work well together.
We are looking for *1–2 days per week*, but we’re flexible about which days and are willing to discuss a schedule that works well for you. This may be a great fit if you’re looking to *add 1–2 days to your current work schedule, prefer part-time work, or are returning to hygiene.*

What You Can Expect
*Patient-Centered Care*
We schedule *50–60 minute adult hygiene appointments*, giving you the time you need to provide thorough care, educate your patients, and build relationships without feeling rushed.
*A Supportive Hygiene Team*
You won’t be on your own. Our hygienists work together, share ideas, help each other throughout the day, and value a positive environment.
*A Schedule That Supports Life Outside the Office*
Our patient care hours end at 3:00 or 4:00 pm, giving you more time for family, activities, and life outside of work.
*Modern Technology*
Our hygiene team uses Dentrix, Dexis digital radiographs, Cavitrons, Mouthwatch intraoral cameras, voice perio charting, and soft tissue lasers.
The Schedule
We are looking for *1–2 days per week*. We are open to discussing which days & hours work best for you.
* *Monday & Tuesday:* 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
* *Wednesday & Thursday:* 7:00 am – 3:00 pm OR 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
* *Summer Hours (June–August):* Monday–Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

What You’ll Do
* Provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care
* Provide thorough patient education and individualized hygiene care
* Maintain 50–60 minute adult hygiene appointments and 30–40 minute child appointments
* Build positive, trusting relationships with patients
* Follow clinical and infection control protocols
* Communicate and collaborate with doctors and team members
* Contribute to a positive, professional office environment
Qualifications
* *Iowa Dental Hygiene License required*
* Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certifications preferred
* CPR and First Aid certification
* Kind, professional, and team-oriented approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
