What You'll Do
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct difference in the lives of the residents you serve. Responsibilities include:
* Evaluate residents with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders
* Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings and resident goals
* Provide skilled, medically necessary speech therapy interventions
* Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
* Educate and support residents, families, caregivers and interdisciplinary team members
* Collaborate with nursing, therapy and other departments to support resident outcomes
* Complete required clinical documentation and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and professional standards
What We're Looking For
* Current *Speech-Language Pathologist license* in the state of Nebraska
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A collaborative, resident-centered approach to care
