Key Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans designed to promote independence and functional recovery
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, and quality of life
- Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in care planning meetings, utilization reviews, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies, home safety, and adaptive equipment
- Provide caregiver training and support successful transitions to home or the next level of care

Qualifications
- Current and active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
