*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and X-Ray scans, at Hamilton County Hospital. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff in the Emergency Room (ER) setting.
*Duties*
* Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and X-Ray equipment.
* Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on patient needs.
* Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and any relevant medical history.
* Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, troubleshooting any issues that arise during procedures.
* Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to enhance patient care.
* Follow established protocols for infection control and radiation safety.
*Requirements*
* Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required.
* Proficiency in CT and X-Ray imaging techniques is essential.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
* Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or ER setting is preferred.
* Ability to perform scans efficiently while ensuring high-quality images are obtained.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
* Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in medical practice.
