*Position Summary*
This salaried position is part time or fulltime. The Primary Counselor provides direct clinical services to clients in our outpatient dual diagnosis substance use treatment program. This role is responsible for conducting assessments, facilitating individual and group therapy, developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality client care. *Key Responsibilities *
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.
* Provide individual counseling (weekly) and facilitate group therapy sessions (daily).
* Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
* Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation (progress notes, group notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, etc.).
* Facilitate family sessions when clinically appropriate and agreed upon by the client.
* Participate in case reviews, audits, and chart monitoring to ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate effectively with the treatment team and communicate client progress and concerns.
* Support crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
* Attend and contribute to treatment team meetings, supervision, and required trainings.
* Ensure compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
* Provide transportation for clients when necessary (using agency vehicle).
* Perform additional duties as assigned to support program quality and client care.
*Qualifications*
* Active licensure required: *, CADC, or CADC-I* (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated knowledge of clinical best practices, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and responding to crises effectively.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
