* Start Date: October 2026
* Shift Schedule: Night Shift - 7pm to 7am
* Location: Rutherfordton, NC
* Pay Rate: Ranges from *$60,000 - $78,000* annually depending on experience
* Bonus: $7,500 sign-on bonus
*Responsibilities / Duties *
* Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer;, EKGs, and tobacco-cessation education as ordered.
* Delivers ordered respiratory therapies; monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and response to treatment.
* Responds to codes and emergent calls; assesses patient condition and provides appropriate interventions.
* Evaluates and contributes to respiratory care policies and procedures based on outcomes, research, and best practices.
* Educates patients and families on illness, treatments, device use, and community resources.
* Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory supplies and medical gas cylinders; maintains storage areas and equipment readiness.
* Disassembles, cleans, sterilizes, performs preventive maintenance, and calibrates respiratory equipment.
*Requirements*
* *Education*: Associate's degree in respiratory therapy required.
* *License*: Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in state of North Carolina.
* *Certifications*: BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP required.
