Position: Part Time Lead Coach
Introduction:
ATOM is a Bronze Medal and ASCA top 50 club in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our vision is to create an environment where champions are inevitable. We believe that every swimmer brings value to our team. Our core values of Family, Intensity, Respect, and Empathy guide our daily practice as we strive to continue to be competitive on the local, state, sectional, and national levels.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized part time coach. This coach must be dedicated to quality, learning, and the overall vision at ATOM. This coach will also be working directly with our Head Age Group Coach to build our 11-12 program.
Responsibilities:
Run 5 swim workouts per week (weeknight hours during the school year, possible mornings during the summer)
Attend 1 swim meet per month (weekend hours)
Take daily attendance
Send a weekly update to practice group and communicate with parents as needed
Complete meet entries for practice group
Oversee athlete progression in assigned practice group
Assist with administrative duties
Work with entire coaching staff toward team wide goals
Requirements:
Self motivated, energetic, and passionate about swimming
Experience coaching 12 & under swimmers
Verbal and written communication skills
USA Swimming membership will be required once hired

Salary based on experience
