High-Performance Tennis Coaching Fellowship — Vermont

Job Description

High-Performance Tennis Coaching Fellowship — Vermont

A selective opportunity for a competitive player and aspiring high-performance coach to live, train, coach, and learn in Vermont with Chris Lewit, author of The Secrets of Spanish Tennis and longtime coach of nationally ranked and No. 1 junior players in the United States.

We are looking for one exceptional candidate who is serious about becoming a better coach and learning a proven system of player development.

Ideal candidate:

  • Approximately 8–10+ UTR

  • Strong competitive playing background

  • Passionate about coaching and junior development

  • Hard-working, professional, reliable, and eager to learn

  • Enjoys the outdoors and mountain lifestyle

  • Interested in developing a career in high-performance tennis

The fellowship includes housing, a weekly stipend, opportunities for additional paid private lessons, personal training opportunities, summer camp work, and potential year-round employment.

This is not a traditional club teaching-pro position. It is designed for someone who wants to immerse themselves in high-performance tennis, study Spanish training methodology, work closely with serious players, and develop under an experienced coach.

Only one position available. Candidates must interview and complete an on-court tryout.

To apply, contact Chris with your UTR, tennis/coaching résumé, playing video, references, and a short note explaining why you want to become a high-performance coach.
