As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients on hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling and root planing, and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
* Utilize Eaglesoft dental software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and documenting treatments.
* Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
* Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
*Requirements*
* Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
* Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
* Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of infection control procedures and general dentistry practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
