Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Med Tech to perform high-quality diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures for diverse healthcare clients. This role prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, positions and educates patients, and operates nuclear imaging equipment to produce accurate, timely studies. The technologist follows strict radiation safety and infection control standards while documenting all procedures in the EMR. Working within a collaborative, mission-driven staffing team, you'll support patient care across multiple facilities, build strong clinical relationships, and grow professionally in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine studies according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals following radiation safety standards.
- Operate and troubleshoot nuclear medicine imaging equipment and perform routine QA/QC.
- Assess, educate, and position patients to ensure safe, high-quality imaging.
- Document procedures and results accurately in EMR and maintain required records.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to support timely, accurate diagnoses.
- Follow infection control, regulatory, and accreditation standards at all times.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately in coordination with clinical staff.
