Job Description
OhioHealth seeks a Staff RN for our Bone & Joint unit in a casual role. You will provide evidence-based orthopedic and musculoskeletal nursing care, coordinate pre- and post-operative treatment, administer medications, monitor patient status, and educate patients and families. Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to Bone & Joint patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Manage pre- and post-operative orthopedic care and education
- Monitor patient status, pain, and wound healing; document in EHRCollaborate with surgeons, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families on recovery, mobility, and discharge plans
- Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development
