Position Highlights
Job Duties:
Responsible for implementation and oversight of infection control program in compliance with federal, state and organizational guidelines. Provides for health protection, screening and counseling to employees of PCMC, within nursing scope. Supports pre-employment and annual employee health activities. Establishes and maintains policies, programs and protocols in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines for infection control and employee health. Will perform duties consistent with the coordination and implementation of all areas of safety. Responsible for compliance management of regulations and standards applicable to healthcare facility operations, including MNOSHA and Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services. Assists with the maintenance of quality management related activities which includes risk management, quality assurance, safety, and other quality related areas.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. 3 years of nursing experience with preference to prior experience in infection control and/or employee health. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota. BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire. Must meet educational requirements per the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) standards for Infection Control.
The pay range for this position is $37.81 - $60.49 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
