Job Description
*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LICENSED Speech Therapist or Speech Therapy Assistant with degree to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in speech therapy, with experience working with pediatric populations and early intervention services. *Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients, including those in early intervention programs.
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on improving speech, language, and communication skills.
* Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions across various settings, including clinics, schools, or community centers.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as pediatricians, occupational therapists, and educators to coordinate patient care.
* Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support ongoing communication development at home.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, therapy sessions, and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Stay informed about the latest advancements in speech therapy techniques, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
*Qualifications*
* Contract position
* Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of pediatrics, anatomy, physiology related to speech production, and early intervention practices.
* Arkansas Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) from an accredited professional body is required.
* Certificate of insurance
* Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and designing targeted therapy plans.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
* Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech disorders and anatomy knowledge is essential.
