*Location: *SALINA ORTHO Salina, KS
*Job Type: *Full-Time
*Schedule: *Monday–Thursday, 8-5 Friday, 8-12

*Position Overview*

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to support our busy private orthopedic practice. This role offers a unique blend of diagnostic imaging and direct patient care, including rooming patients and assisting with clinical workflow.

The right individual will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, flexible across duties, and committed to delivering efficient, high-quality patient care.

*Key Responsibilities*

*Imaging Duties*

* Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, including:
* Digital X-rays (required)
* CT scans (if certified)
* MRI scans (if certified)
* Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and safety protocols
* Follow orthopedic-specific imaging protocols and physician orders
* Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards
* Operate and maintain imaging equipment
* Accurately document and upload images into PACS/EMR systems

*Clinical / Patient Care Duties*

* Room patients and prepare them for evaluation by providers
* Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
* Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient flow and procedures
* Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper stocking of supplies
* Provide patient education related to imaging procedures when needed
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment

*Qualifications*

* Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
* ARRT certification (RT(R)) required
* CT (ARRT-CT) and/or MRI (ARRT-MR) certification preferred
* Current state licensure (State of Kansas)
* BLS certification preferred
* Prior experience in orthopedic, outpatient, or clinic-based setting strongly preferred
* Ability to multitask and transition between imaging and clinical duties
* Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset
