Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant – Erie, PA📍 St. Vincent Hospital | Erie, Pennsylvania
💰 Competitive Market Rate: $110–$130/hr
Join a well-established Cardiothoracic Surgery team at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA. This locum opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with a balanced call rotation and the chance to assist in a variety of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures.
Position Details- Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
- Location: Erie, Pennsylvania
- Facility: St. Vincent Hospital
- Setting: Outpatient
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Call: 1:4 rotation (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities- First assist in Cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Perform surgical closures
- Assist with vascular procedures
- Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary care team
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient management
Requirements- Certified Physician Assistant
- Active Pennsylvania PA License
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Active DEA
- Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required
- EVH experience strongly preferred/required
