A-Level Diagnostic Technician — *$30–$46 Flat Rate + Bumped Labor Times & Air Conditioned Shop!!*

We're a growing, NAPA AutoCare– and TechNet–affiliated shop that runs clean, runs organized, and actually charges for diagnostic time (imagine that). We back every job with a nationwide 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, and we're looking for a sharp diagnostic mind to help us keep raising the bar.
*Who we're looking for:*
You're the tech other techs bring their head-scratchers to. You love chasing down a gremlin, you trust your process, and you can flat-out run at an A level. Electrical and driveability don't intimidate you — they're your favorite part.
*What you'll do:*
* Diagnose driveability, electrical, and systems issues on domestic + import vehicles
* Knock out clean, thorough digital vehicle inspections (we're paperless on tablets)
* Fix it right the first time — that's the standard
* Work alongside our service advisor and remote diagnostic support to keep jobs flowing
*What you bring:*
* 3–5 years of hands-on diagnostic/repair experience
* Strong electrical + driveability skills
* ASE certs? Love to see it — but not a dealbreaker if you've got the skills
* Your own tools + a valid driver's license and clean record (we run a loaner fleet)
* A good attitude and a team-first mindset
*What we bring:*
* Flat-rate pay with a tiered plan — $30–$46/flat rate, based on experience and certifications — plus incentives when we hit our numbers (yes, that includes team steak dinners when we crush a sales goal)
* *We bump our labor times above book on every job* — because real-world jobs in Iowa come with rust, seized bolts, and surprises, and you shouldn't eat that time. Book time is the floor here, not the ceiling.
* Health & dental — we cover 80% of your premium

* Paid time off (80 hrs/yr after 90 days)
