Job Description
AJ2 Security is seeking experienced retail store detectives to work at our industry leading client’s store locations. We have built a reputation for providing exceptional service to our clients through our highly professional team of detectives. We currently have openings in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Job Description:
Store detectives are responsible for protecting the assets of our clients (cash, merchandise, property) as well as ensuring a safe and secure environment by doing the following:
* Watching the activity of customers, employees, vendors, and delivery people for suspicious behavior
* Working in a Loss Prevention shirt to detect and apprehend potential shoplifters
* Using cctv and other security systems to monitor activity in client locations
* Filing complaints with police and testifying in court in regards to apprehensions and investigations which you took part in

Skills Required:
* High degree of professionalism

* Strong report writing and communication skills
* Ability to travel to store locations within 25 miles of home
* Ability to work retail store hours
Experience Requirements:
* A minimum of 6 months of verifiable retail store detective experience required (working undercover to detect and apprehend shoplifters)
* North Carolina security license
