As a
Test Technician - Level 5 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting our aerospace testing operations. You will be responsible for conducting and overseeing test procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of aerospace components and systems. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and the advancement of aerospace technology.
You will report directly to our Test Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the aerospace business by ensuring that all test activities meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your work will help maintain Honeywell’s reputation for excellence and innovation in aerospace technology.
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform and document complex test procedures on aerospace components and systems to verify performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues discovered during testing.
- Maintain test equipment and ensure calibration and readiness for accurate test results.
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe testing environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test processes and efficiency.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- Extensive experience in aerospace test environments, with a strong understanding of test procedures and equipment.
- Proficiency in using test instrumentation and diagnostic tools relevant to aerospace systems.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory requirements applicable to testing.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test plans accurately.
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting to support engineering decisions.
WE VALUE- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Aerospace, or related field.
- Experience with automated test systems and software tools used in aerospace testing.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
