Engines & Power Systems provides the propulsion, auxiliary power and electrical systems that keep aircraft flying. THE POSITION

As a Production Scheduling Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead and manage the production scheduling activities within our Aerospace division, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products. You will play a critical role in coordinating production schedules, optimizing resource allocation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer demands and business objectives.

You will report directly to our Senior Director of Materials Management at the Phoenix Engines Site and you’ll work out of our Phoenix Engines facility in Phoenix, AZ. The position will report on site.

In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and effectiveness of production operations, enabling Honeywell Aerospace to maintain its reputation for quality and reliability in the aerospace industry.



Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize manufacturing capacity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to ensure alignment of production plans.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for owning and managing Key Performance Indicators, namely Aging WIP, Schedule Attainment and MPS attainment.
  • Ownership and guidance of desk level standard work.


Qualifications
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be U.S. Person, which is defined as a, U.S. Citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or have the ability to obtain export authorization.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Extensive experience in production scheduling and supply chain management within aerospace or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning tools and ERP systems to manage scheduling and resource allocation effectively.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics to drive scheduling efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple departments to align production schedules with business goals and customer requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven leadership experience managing production scheduling teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing production demands.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
