*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be a Leader, responsible for Administering Medications, Assessments, and providing essential care to residents in our Basic Care Memory Care Facility. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals living with Dementia.
*Responsibilities*
* Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
* Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions to medications and report findings to nursing staff.
* Maintain accurate medication records and documentation as required by facility policies.
* Provide Leadership and Supervision to Nursing Team.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans for residents.
* Engage with residents compassionately, providing emotional support and companionship.
* Uphold hygiene standards and ensure a clean environment for all residents.
*Requirements*
* Current Licensure as an LPN.
* Must have experience working in Dementia/Alzheimer Care
* Experience working in a hospital, nursing home, hospice care, or assisted living setting is preferred.
* Knowledge of physiology and medication administration practices.
* Familiarity with caregiving techniques for individuals with dementia .
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
* Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality regarding resident information.
* On Call
* Ability to work both AM and PM Shifts
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
