EMT Basic or EMT Advanced: 24 hr shift (24/72) & 12 Hr Shift - Must have EMT Cert

We are a commercial ambulance company with bases of operation in Halifax and South Hill, VA. We work the shifts below. We are currently seeking a BLS provider for a 12 hour shift.

1. BLS provider - 12 hr shift. 3 days / week. 0800-2000

2. BLS provider - 24 hour shift. 24 on / 72 off

3. Part time BLS provider - 0800-2000 weekdays based on need (1-2 shifts available each week)

Position requires a Virginia EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) and EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operators Course). If you are an EMT from another state, Virginia will offer a one year provisional Virginia EMT. Position requires a positive attitude, integrity and work ethic.

We offer a full set of benefits. We staff both 24 hour and 12 hour shifts. Part-time positions are also available for both BLS and ALS providers.

These positions are based in Halifax, Virginia. We pay the entire 24 hours and seek to maintain reasonable and sustainable working conditions.

All of our ambulances are well-maintained, late model Sprinters equipped with PowerPro stretchers and PowerLoads.

Hourly pay rate is based on certification:

Vehicle Operator: 15.00

EMT Basic 18.50

EMT Advanced 20.00

EMT Intermediate 24.50

EMT Paramedic 26.00
