Job Description

As an Inspector - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of aerospace products through detailed inspection and testing processes. Your attention to detail and commitment to standards will help maintain Honeywell's reputation for excellence in the aerospace industry.

You will report directly to our Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the safety, reliability, and performance of aerospace components by identifying defects and ensuring adherence to strict quality standards, supporting Honeywell’s mission to deliver superior aerospace solutions.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to detect defects and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Use precision measuring instruments and inspection tools to verify product dimensions and characteristics.
  • Document inspection results accurately and communicate findings to relevant teams for corrective actions.


Qualifications
The annual base salary range for this position is $47,200.00 - $70,800.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven experience in inspection and quality control within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality standards, and use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
  • Familiarity with quality documentation and reporting procedures.
