A successful Insurance Agent will demonstrate exceptional negotiation abilities and maintain a customer-focused approach to service.

*Duties*

* Engage in sales activities to identify and acquire new clients.
* Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate insurance products.
* Negotiate policy terms and conditions with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
* Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups using sales administration tools.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance outreach efforts.
* Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
* Assist clients with benefits administration and provide guidance on policy claims as needed.
* Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach potential customers effectively.
* Foster relationships with clients to encourage referrals and repeat business.

*Qualifications*

* Proven experience in insurance sales or related fields such as retail sales or outside sales is preferred.
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
* Proficient analytical skills for assessing client needs and developing tailored solutions.
* Familiarity with marketing strategies relevant to the insurance industry is advantageous.
* Previous experience in benefits administration is beneficial but not required.
* Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team dynamics.
* A valid insurance license will be required. Prefer to be licensed but training and licensing will be provided if needed.
