Job Description

Our growing dental practice is searching for a bright, energetic, and reliable Dental Hygienist to join our team. *Duties*
* Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
* Perform thorough documentation review to ensure accurate patient records and treatment plans.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Utilize Dentrix systems for patient management and record keeping.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.
* Stay updated on the latest advancements in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry practices.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role within a dental practice is preferred.
* Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
* Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, demonstrating an ability to work effectively with children.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient education and comfort.
* Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
* Desire to assist and support the entire team as a whole.
*Requirements:*
Current license as a Dental Hygienist in good standing in the state of Vermont
