In this role within the Military Traffic & Transponder Product Engineering team, you will impact the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions that support Honeywell’s aerospace initiatives, helping to drive innovation and maintain our leadership in the industry.

You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:- Drive customer engagement while delivering programs on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in accordance with project specifications.
- Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of software projects within scope and budget
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software engineering
- Ability to code in multiple languages.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Assembly.
- Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles.
- Ability to manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
WE VALUE- Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related field.
- Familiarity with RF communications
- Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket
- Familiarity with signal processing, test, and embedded software experience
- Familiarity with various application areas supporting Avionics functions, Navigation and Airborne Surveillance (TCAS, Transponder, ADS-B, DME, UAT).
- Experience working with Defense Customers preferred
- Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
