Multiple Shifts Available: We have 12 hour day shifts (6-6) available for a nurse seeking a career.
The purpose of the LPN position is to serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary care team
facilitating quality care, guided by residents’ individualized service plans, Facility policies and
procedures, and State and Federal guidelines.
Specific Duties
Follow physicians’ orders, treatments, and resident service plan approaches.
Carry out duties assigned by the Director of Nursing &/or Unit Resident Care Manager
Administer medications and treatments.
Complete medical and behavioral observations as required.
Work and coordinate with all team members to meet resident’s needs. Assist other staff
assisting residents, as needed.
Work independently, while prioritizing duties and responsibilities, taking on additional
assignments, maintaining accuracy and timeliness with documentation, and
demonstrating the ability to problem solve.
Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints from others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Current licensure as an LPN or RN in the State of Montana
Completion of 24 continuing education credits within a 2-year licensure period, as required by the State of Montana
Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, State and Federal guidelines for long-term care
Comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time/deadline pressures
Physical Requirements:
Frequent sitting; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms; stooping, kneeling, bending, squatting, crouching, or crawling; talking and hearing
Frequently lift up to 10 pounds; rarely lift up to 20 or 40 pounds
Occasionally reach above shoulder height; frequently reach from chest to shoulder and below waist level
Occasionally carry up to 12 pounds; rarely carry up to 25 pounds
Frequently push/pull up to 20 pounds; rarely push/pull up to 40 pounds
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
